Texas Instruments and STMicroelectronics announce plans to jointly develop and offer ICs for cdma2000 handsets. The complete CDMA chipset, developed jointly with or licensed from Nokia, will include an analog baseband/power management chip, a digital baseband chip, associated protocol software, RF chips and reference designs. The compnaies will provide development and testing tools, as well as support, for their respective ICs. Source: SBN
